PICTURE THIS!
By Sue Bell
What does it feel like to live with dyslexia?
Dyslexic people are often described as 'picture thinkers'. This publication uses photographs taken by people with dyslexia combined with their words to create small comic book narratives which tell their stories and show us their experience.
This book is for anyone who lives with dyslexia or wants to know more about the social and emotional experience of being dyslexic. It can be used as a resource in adult learning or as a self-awareness tool in workplace support.
"Picture This! shares with the audience a positive reflection of some of the frustrating journeys a dyslexic person will travel within their lifetime. Let it reach out to encourage those who have yet to begin on their own road of discovery."
Jackie Walker,

"I could relate to most of these. There are things in there and you think it's just you. Like going into a place and getting lost. It's interesting how many things dyslexia affects. The more you learn about dyslexia, the more you learn about yourself. It's weird. I think it makes you understand yourself more, doesn't it? Before I used to think I was stupid."
